A SHOWCASE OF MY WORK

Ruth McClean (splashback)

Ceramic tiles provided by Ruth were used to complete her splashback.  I supplied the adhesive and grout etc.  She was very happy with how they finished her kitchen.

Sandy Wilson (wet-room)

Sandy supplied the tiles for her wet room. The walls were very large, dark grey porcelain tiles and brushed aluminium mosaics which complimented one another beautifully.  The floor was finished in a lighter grey, slightly smaller tile, also in porcelain.

Margaret Newlands (splashback)

Margaret asked me to source tiles for a splashback in her kitchen so this job was supply and fit.  She gave me an idea of what was required and left it up to me to choose her tiles.  She was delighted with the finished job.

Anne Howell (bathroom)

Anne had picked all the tiles for her bathroom beforehand so it was just a case of installing them.  On the walls she chose a cream coloured, high gloss ceramic tile with a patterned top row.  All edges were finished with aluminium trim.  The floor tiles were light grey, high gloss ceramic with grey grout.  As the pictures show, the end result was a stunning, contemporary bathroom.

Margaret Sinclair (splashback)

Margaret asked me to tile her kitchen splashback and a couple of walls to half height.  She was unsure of which tiles she wanted so I took her some brochures and we decided on these ceramic tiles in grey with square edge aluminium trim, which compliment her kitchen perfectly.

Kara Armstrong (splashback)

Kara had purchased her own tiles, she simply required them to be fitted.  Her kitchen splashback was already tiled and as she wanted minimal fuss and mess we decided to tile on top of the existing tiles. The cooker hood area had not been tiled previously so 9.5mm plaster board was used to bring the wall flush to the tiles below.  The new tiles have totally transformed the look of her kitchen.

Gordon Watson (kitchen, hall, bathroom & hearth)

I travelled to the Island of Gigha to carry out several jobs for Gordon.  These included laying 40m² of travertine tiles on his kitchen floor and 2m² on his bathroom floor, 7m² of porcelain in his hall and porcelain on his hearth area.  Gordon supplied all tiles and materials so it was simply a case of installing them.  The travertine tiles were laid using a pattern which repeated over approximately 2m² and the finished job looks stunning as the pictures show.

Gordon Stevenson (bathroom & shower room)

Over the last 2 years I have tiled both Gordon's bathroom and his shower room.  For his bathroom he supplied all materials; fitting was all that was required.  His bathroom consisted of large white ceramic tiles on the walls with a light green porcelain on the floor.  In the shower room we used white polished porcelain on the walls and on the floor a ceramic tile which uses advanced digital printing to create a modern take on the classic Victorian style.  These allowed us to achieve the traditional styling and aesthetics of the Victorian period.  Both rooms had dual wire undertile heating installed prior to tiling.
